Innocence
smiles at me
through the eyes
of a three-year old
Purity
shines from the
Western mountains
graced with snow
Silence
feeds me in
the kiva snuggled
in the mother
Patience
engulfs me
in the presence of a
gazing newborn
Laughter
bubbles up
watching lambs play
in a greening pasture
That I'm a part of
all this is
the gift beyond desire.

Beautiful! Also I often have wondered what it was that was being grown along highway 52 with posts and shading slats. Now I know. It must have been legal because it was so close to the highway
